Designed to introduce our younger audience to the glamour and energy of the fashion industry, FWI Summer experiences will immerse you into the world of fashion via a featurepacked itinerary of visits, talks, workshops, experiences, and more.

FWI summer experiences are socially inclusive and designed for applicants aged between 13 and 17.
Applicants should be able to travel to and stay in London for 2 weeks from July 11th to 24th.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a passion and strong interest in the fashion industry, be comfortable participating in a telephone interview once their application has been received, and be able to provide written consent to participate from a parent or guardian, if their application is accepted.
Featuring the largest selection of room types in St. George Towers, this recently renovated tower features a grand lobby that connects to the other towers.
With singles, doubles and triples, this is the tallest tower in St. George Towers. It connects to the Studio Tower through a hallway, and all towers through a lobby that maintains the historic feel and original details from its past as a famed hotel.
Made up of doubles, triples and lofted triples, this tower’s rooms feature high ceilings and large windows. It connects to the Weller Tower through a hallway, and all towers through a lobby that showcases details from its famous days as a hotel.

i. A signed experience agreement and program deposit of (£900.00 / $1,200.00) is payable at the time of booking. The program deposit is part of the total experience fee, not an additional charge.
ii. Transportation to and from the city outside of prearranged times, lunches, snacks, personal spending money, and laundry costs are not included in the experience fee.
FWI Summer Experiences incorporate a range of in-person partner visits, workshops, and talks, delivered by leading industry professionals. Each element of the experience will introduce you to a different area of the industry, helping you build a wide understanding of how the industry works.

Participate in a guided visit to a fashion designers studio, and gain an overview of how designers conceptualise their designs, using techniques such as sewing, patternmaking, and cutting. Take part in interactive activities with a specific focus on fashion design and production.
Ever wondered what a PR Agency actually does? Here's your chance to find out. Discover the magic of PR and story-telling for Fashion Week. Learn from a member of the Human Resources team how to access the fashion industry and the importance of doing internships to enter the industry.
Love styling? Do you want to learn about the latest trends? Meet with a leading fashion stylist and learn about how to spot trends, style clients and what it takes to stay at the top of the styling world.
Interested in the business side of the fashion industry? In this visit to the head office of a leading fashion house, you will enjoy a guided tour of the office, meet the team, and take part in interactive activities with a specific focus on sales and marketing.
Representing multiple brands and designers, showrooms are the places where buyers go to find new lines and products. During this visit, you will gain an insight into how showrooms work, how they curate brands, and take part in interactive activities focused on buying and merchandising.
Ready for your close-up? This is your opportunity to learn how model agencies work. Top professionals will guide you through the different agency departments - explaining what they do, and the tasks performed in each of them. Take part in interactive activities focusing on modelling, styling, and photography.
Participate in a hands-on workshop to learn cool tips and techniques for hair and make-up with a professional make-up artist.
Learn how clothing manufacturers work during this visit to their facilities, and Participate in activities to learn more about apparel production, pattern making, and grading.
Participate in a guided visit to an entertaining and educational fashion museum with inspiring exhibitions to advance your knowledge and imagination.
Participate in an admissions information session with the London College of Fashion student admissions team. Designed to help you learn about the various pathways to building a successful career in the fashion industry. The session will help you understand how to apply your talents to meet your aspirations.
FWI Summer Experiences also incorporate a variety of group trips and visits to well-known London attractions and neighbourhoods, giving you the opportunity to really get to know your new city!
Your London itinerary will include the following highlights:
Take a stroll through one of London's most beautiful parks, the most visited city park in London, and home to a variety of monuments and wildlife.
One of London's most fashionable and trendy neighbourhoods, Notting Hill is home to the bohemian Portobello Road, and its iconic instagrammable Victorian pastel-coloured townhouses. At the top of the Portobello Road, the famous vintage clothing market can be found. Perhaps you'll even meet a film star in a travel book shop.
Explore one of London's most well known and busiest thoroughfares. Home to Europe''s biggest digital billboard, the famous Eros statue and fountain, Trafalgar Square s the gateway to the West End, London's thearteland, the busy shopping district, and much more!
Located in the heart of London's theatreand, visitors to Chinatown will have the opportunity to taste a mind-boggling variety of Chinese delicacies at the best dim sum spots, while exploring the many cultural and ethnic landmarks Chinatown has to offer.
See the city from a different perspective as you travel up over 400 feet for the most breathtaking views of the ever-changing London skyline. See Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, St. Pauls Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, the royal parks, and the Tower of London, from you this unique vantage point. A truly once in a lifetime experience.
The West End is London's cultural hub. Packed with spectacular shopping streets (Oxford St, Regents St), busy bars, theatres, clubs, and restaurants, the West End is a buzzing 24-hour cultural hotspot.
Experience a thrilling guided speedboat ride as you fly down the River Thames whizzing past London sights like Tower Bridge and the Thames Barrier, listening to high-octane music, and learning about how the role the River Thames played in the growth of London.
The City of London, also known as the Square Mile is the financial district of London. Home to both the Bank of England and the Stock Exchange, modern city skyscrapers tower above medieval alleyways, some of which remain unchanged since Victoria times.
Camera's ready! Visit one of London's most famous landmarks. Buckingham Palace is the home of the Queen of England, and her famous corgi's. Located in th heart of St. James' Park, no visit to London is complete without seeing this majestic landmark.
Lining a short but beautiful stretch of the river Thames in central London, the South bank is filled with a number of famous arts and cultural venues, in addition to some of London's better known attractions, including the London Eye. Looking back across the Thames from the South Bank, amazing views of Big Ben, St. Paul's Cathedral, and the London Skyline can be found.
Since the 1700's this pedestrianised market has hosted street performers, an outdoor fashion market, and so much more. Try foods from all around the world, shop the latest fashions, and see unique curiosities! Home to Amy Winehouse, the Roundhouse, and London's counter culture, Camden Market is a feast for the senses.
A bustling traffic-free piazza where the sounds of live music are complemented by the laughter as crowds watching jugglers, magicians, and some of London's best street performers. The main Covent Garden neighbourhood is centred around the historic Covent Garden Market, and it;s many fashion and beauty boutiques, restaurants and bars.

One of London's wealthiest areas, leafy Kensington is some of the capitals most famous museums – The Natural History Museum, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, two royal parks, and the exclusive department store, Harrods.
